Prices and Description
Prices are subject to change without notice.
Every effort has been taken to ensure descriptions, photographic reproductions and specifications of products are correct. However, slight variations on the website, may occur between actual goods and those pictured; uniformity can not be guaranteed. We reserve the right to change the specification of products without prior notice.
You have the right to decline orders if you feel that the price and/or product varies from the description given on the website.
Stock Availability
Some of our collection contains products sourced from companies that produce limited quantities, to ensure exclusivity. We endeavour to keep adequate stock of all items displayed, but there may be times when we are waiting for stock to be replenished. At the time of placing your order, we will advise you if there is a longer than normal delivery time on the item you require and either offer an alternative or advise you of a due delivery date. This way, we hope you are able to make an informed decision regarding your purchase.
Complaints
Should you have a complaint with the service or product, we would be mortified! However please contact us immediately on 01202 881884 so that we may have every opportunity to rectify the situation for you.
Delivery
Please ensure that we are given a full and correct address, so that errors do not occur with the delivery. Pearcy's must be informed within 7 days of delivery if there are any breakages or other damage and claims will be subject to inspection by the deliverer.
Pearcys will not be liable for any loss after goods have been signed for.
The Company, under no circumstances, accepts liability for losses special to the particular circumstances of the customer, indirect or consequential losses or loss of profit, damage to property or wasted expenditure.
Returns and Exchanges
We believe that you will be delighted with your product choice from Pearcy's however we appreciate there may be occasions where you will want to return an item. Our terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
Cancelled Orders
With the exception of products handmade to order, Pearcy's will exchange or refund any item returned to us within 7 working days with which you are not happy, as long as both the packaging and the goods are in perfect condition. You are responsible for the return postal costs. You are to advise Pearcy's by email that you wish to cancel the order within the cancellation period which ends on the expiry of 7 working days, beginning on the day after receipt. Pearcy's will refund your payment within 30 days of receipt of the returned goods to us, excluding delivery costs. Send your cancellation by email to us at gifts@pearcys.co.uk. The parcel itself is your responsibility until it reaches us, we cannot refund or exhange goods that are broken or lost in transit. However, if the return is due to an error by Pearcy's we will refund the delivery cost.
Faulty Goods
In the event that your order arrives faulty please advise us in writing by emailing gifts@pearcys.co.uk as soon as you can, but within 7 working days of receipt. We will be happy to refund or exchange provided your return is made within 7 days of receipt. In this case, we will be happy to refund the cost of returning the goods by first or second class post. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Payment
Payment to be made at the time of order. Should your item not be available immediately we will not make a charge to your credit card until goods are ready for delivery.
The title of good's passes to the customer at the time of payment, until such time, Pearcy's retain full legal and equitable title to the good's.
Secure Payment
We accept Visa, Visa Delta, Mastercard, Switch, Maestro, Electron and Solo, we cannot accept AMEX online. Please note we are unable to accept Diners Club. Your credit or debit card will be charged on the date that we dispatch your order.
You confirm that the credit/debit card that is being used is yours. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non delivery. You can also pay by cheque. Please make payble to Pearcy's - Personal Gift Service' and write your cheque guarantee card number, issue number (if applicable), guaranteed amount, expiry date and address on the back of the cheque. When paying by cheque, please allow an additional 5 days for clearance.
VAT
Vat is charged at the current rate (17.5%). We reserve the right to change prices subject to a change in the rate of VAT. |
